US Virgin Islands at the Winter Olympics
The US Virgin Islands, or simply Virgin Islands, appeared for the first time at the Winter Games in Calgary, Canada in 1988, and since that time have missed sending athletes to the Winter Olympics in 2010 and 2018.
The US territory already won a solitary medal at the Summer Olympics in sailing in 1988, but it is seeking its first medal at the Winter Games.
The world's youngest Olympic skier was Seba Johnson, who at age 14 placed 28th out of 64 Alpine female Olympic skiers at the 1988 winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada. Seba was also the first African-American Olympic skier and the first "black" female Olympic skier in the world. She represented the United States Virgin Islands in two Olympiads.
Anne Abernathy was the only competitor from the Virgin Islands at the 2006 Winter Olympics. She was entered in the women's luge event, but did not compete after injuring herself during a practice run. The nation sent one athlete at the 2014 Sochi Winter Games that competed in alpine skiing. No athletes participated in the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
The US Virgin Islands has sent a total of 28 athletes to the Winter Games from 1988 to 2014.

- The oldest female to compete in the Winter Olympics was Anne Abernathy from the Virgin Islands, who was 52 when she competed in the Luge at the 2006 Olympics.
