- While swimming with your head down, remember to not old your breath, just breathe out the air from your lungs gradually.
- Keep your strokes long in the water and relaxed when coming over. Try and keep the heart rate down so that you conserve energy for the cycling and running legs.
- Look up every 10 strokes and focus on a landmark near the finish, to help you stay on course and finish faster.
