Redneck skeet is a fun shooting sport in which beer cans are used as targets

The objective of the sport is to shoot down the beer cans that are launched from a sling shot. The sling shot is usually mounted on the back of a truck, but any other location suitable to mount a slingshot can also be used.

There are no requirements for the field used for Redneck skeet and it can be played in any location which is safe enough for discharging ammunition.

At least two people are required to play the sport. One person will be responsible for launching the beer cans and the other takes the shots. There is no restriction on the type of guns that can be used and it is up to the choice of the individual. There are no restrictions on how fast or how far the targets can be slung. It all depends on what the players are in the mood for at that time.

The sport is practiced only at a recreational level. The sport is not very popular and is played only in a very few pockets. The reason is quite understandable, not many like to waste their beer.
