The Best FIFA Football Awards are association football awards presented annually by the sport's governing body, FIFA, since 2016. From 2010 until 2015, the FIFA player of the year award was merged with the Ballon d'Or and called the FIFA Ballon d'Or. From 1991 until 2009, awards were presented at the FIFA World Player Gala. For historical records, the awards from all three ceremonies are considered as being from the same.
