FIFA Coach of the Year Award
There has been an annual award for the men's and women's football coach of the year, awarded by FIFA annually since 2010. From 2010 until 2015, the award was the FIFA World Coach of the Year, a joint award by FIFA and Ballon d'Or. After the split of FIFA and Ballon d'Or, the award has been called the Best FIFA Football Coach Award. There is also a new Ballon d'Or Coach of the Year Award which will be first awarded in 2024.
Football coach in actionThe winners are currently decided by four groups, each contributing 25% of the total vote. The voting panel includes media representatives, national team coaches, national team captains and the general public.
