The 49ers dominated the game, with quarterback Joe Montana throwing for 331 yards and three touchdowns to earn the MVP award. San Francisco's defense was also strong, holding the Dolphins to just 16 points and forcing two turnovers. This was the second Super Bowl win for the San Francisco 49ers.
