The Yashin Trophy is an annual football award for the world's best male goalkeeper. The voting is by the same voters as the men's Ballon d'Or, journalists from the top 100 ranked countries, with each providing a list of three players instead of five. The first award was presented in 2019 (and none in 2020).
The Yasin Trophy is named after Russian goalkeeper Lev Yashin, who in 1963 became the only goalkeeper to win the Ballon d'Or award.
