The 2015 World Cup of Rugby was played at 13 stadiums. London’s Olympic Stadium hosted five matches, though only two club rugby grounds (Gloucester’s Kingsholm and Exeter’s Sandy Park) were selected among the 13 venues.
Some matches were played in Cardiff, Wales, although England, and its governing body the Rugby Football Union, is officially the sole host nation.
