Former model Kim Barnouin wrote the best-selling diet book Skinny Bitch: A No-Nonsense, Tough-Love Guide. She holds a degree in holistic nutrition and also a former agent for Ford models Rory Freedman. Both Freedman and Barnouin are co-authors of the book, simply stating that getting slim is by adopting by their “way of life.”
This famous diet book is for those who failed their other diet plans and wanting to succeed with the help of the Skinny Bitch plan.
Skinny Bitch diet plan lets you eat low-calorie foods and will work if you followed the instructions carefully.
All you need to do is cut off meat, dairy, eggs, sugar, fish, artificial sweeteners, refined carbs, sugar, alcohol, caffeine (although the occasional cup of coffee and organic red wine is okay).
The book clearly stated that “sugar is the devil and artificial sweeteners are just as bad”, “coffee is liquid satan” and “you must be stupid if you think Atkins will make you skinny.”
The Skinny Bitch diet is mainly about eating fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes, seeds, whole wheat, and brown rice and just anything that is organic. There’s no need for calorie counting.
You are advised to eat 3 meals daily and can indulge in healthy snacks when necessary. These include vegetable crackers, soy products and organic pretzels.
Sample meals during the Skinny Bitch Diet
Breakfast – soy yogurt and fruit salad
Lunch – vegan Caesar salad with fake chicken
Snacks – avocado with organic corn chips
Dinner – vegetarian pad thai
In this diet, it is important to wait when until you start feeling hungry before eating, and just basically get used to that hunger feeling.
Doing regular exercise is recommended, most especially yoga.
The Skinny Bitch Diet is in fact a vegan diet. You will benefit from fruit and vegetable increase, strictly getting rid of animal products which have a high risk of developing nutritional deficiencies.
Cons of this diet are a long-term health risk when you’re on a vegan diet and consuming low-calorie foods will weaken your energy.
Victoria Beckham was papped one day buying this book and after a few hours, sales of the Skinny Bitch had gone up to 37,000%.
But there are no real data collected regarding how much weight you’ll lose while you’re on the program. The authors did say that you will feel lighter, prettier, nicer and healthier
