Australian Shooting at the Olympics

In 1900 in Paris, Australian shooter Donald MacIntosh came third in the live pigeon shooting event. This was the first and only time animals were killed on purpose in an Olympic event [more about the Pigeon Shooting Event]
Neville Sayers is one of the few athletes who have represented Australia in two different sports at the Olympic Games: Modern Pentathlon in 1956 and 1960, and Shooting in 1960.
