The new sport of Rugbis Ball was created by Matt Clifford and Ashley Davis from Padstow UK in August 2015 on Padstow Beach.
Description
The sport is for two players (but could be played with more.).
The serving team turns back on receiving team and chucks rugbis ball into the area (a rugby ball) which must travel behind the server and into the other players court.
The other player either catches the ball and no points are scored.
If ball is dropped one point is scored to server.
If receiver punches the ball the ball must travel into opposition half and the ball bounces in the other half the player gains two points of the player catches the ball they get two points.
This game can be played on a wet beach using the tide line as your net or any tennis court
It's a best of ten over three games with the teams switching sides after 5 points.
