Who is the greatest Judoka of all time based on Olympic Games performances? We have used a weighted total medal count of each male and female Judo athlete from all modern Olympic Games to rank their overall performance, using data from all Olympics including the Tokyo 2020 Games.
The best all-time performing judo athlete at the Olympic Games is French judoka Teddy Riner. He has won three gold medals and two bronze medals between 2008 and 2021. Japanese Judoka Tadahiro Nomura is the only other judo athlete to win three gold medals.
