The Greatest Diver at the Olympic Games
Who is the greatest diver of all time based on Olympic Games performances? We have used a weighted total medal count of each male and female diver from all modern Olympic Games to rank their overall performance, using data from all Olympics including the Tokyo 2020 Games.
The best all-time performing diver at the Olympic Games is female Chinese diver Wu Minxia with seven medals in total (5 gold) between 2004–2016. Another chinese diver, Chen Ruolin, has five golds too. The higest ranked male diver is US diver Greg Louganis with four gold medals. See the table below to see how other athletes ranked.
