Sugar is very hard to give up. It’s alright to binge on some desserts on special occasions, but in smaller amounts. It is one of the reasons why there are a lot of obese people in the world. Try to avoid these when you’re on a No Sugar Diet

- Sugar-marinated meat (like ham)
- Beer
- Syrup
- Fruit juices with added sugar
- Pasta (except whole grain)
- Condiments with added sugar
- Honey
- Jams and jellies with sugar
- Salad dressings
- Potato, corn
- Raisins
- Junk foods
- Sugar and products with added sugar (like canned fruits)
- White flour (used in cakes, pretzels, doughnuts, muffins, crackers and bagels)
- Ripe bananas (except green bananas)
And here are some that are allowed
- Beans
- Nuts (and nut butters)
- Olive and canola oils
- Low carb fruits and vegetables
- Low fat milk, yogurt, sour cream
- Whole grain flour
- Lean meats
- Fish and seafood (no breading)
- Eggs
- Whole grains (like brown rice and oatmeal)
