Moses Malone : Basketball
Moses Eugene Malone (born March 23, 1955) is a retired American basketball player, also known to be the most successful prep-to-pro player of his generation because he finished high school then went immediately to a 21-year career in professional basketball. Malone first signed a letter of intent to play for the University of Maryland but was drafted by the ABA’s Utah Stars in 1974. He then played for several teams including Sprits of St. Louis, Buffalo Braves, Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs and many others.
Greatest Sporting Achievements
Moses Malone became the NBA Finals’ MVP, three-time NBA MVP, twelve-time NBA All-Star, two-time ABA All-Star, four-time All-NBA for each First and Second Team. He became part of the NBA All-Defensive First and Second Team and is one of the 50 Greatest Players of NBA. In 2001, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame.

Malone was a ruthless rebounder and valuable scorer. He became very dominant not only in the ABA, but in the NBA as well. He used his swiftness, strong points and persistence for each game. He was the leader on scoreboards. Moses Malone was a brilliant player since not everyone can skip college then just goes professional.
