Eritrea at the Winter Olympics
The African nation of made their debut at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics in South Korea. Shannon-Ogbani Abeda was born in Canada to Eritrean parents who moved to Canada as refugees in the 1980s. He competed in alpine skiing slalom and giant slalom at Pyeongchang.
