There were seven cycling events at the Olympic Games in 1904 which are officially considered part of the Olympic Games. On the cycling program there were also professional and handicapped events, which as not listed here. It was the only time distances based on the mile were used to determine the length of events, so none of these races have been held at the Olympics at any other time.

Four events were won by US rider Marcus Hurley. Cyclists from the USA won all medals, as only US cyclists competed in these events.
