Camping
Camping, which is also known as campyon, campan, and campball, was a medieval football game which was played in England. The game was traditionally played in the middle of the town.
The goal of the game was to take the ball to the opposite side of town. The games were usually between rival parishes. It was the custom before to play a game right after church services. Each group has two goals, which are ten or fifteen yards apart. The group can have 10 to fifteen members.
They will stand in line facing each other; they should be around 10 yards away. There is a person who will throw up a ball in the middle, and then will escape right after the ball is thrown. The players will then rush to catch the falling ball. The first one who can catch it will speed home will make his way through the opponents, and this person will be aided by his men.
