Brazil at the Winter Olympics
Brazil is a regular participant at the Summer Olympics since 1920, but the nation is a latecomer at the Winter Games. The largest nation in South America made its debut at the Winter Games in Albertville, France in 1992 and has participated in the event from then on.
The home of the majestic Amazon jungle is also a strong contender at the Summer Olympics, but unfortunately the nation is still waiting to win its first medal at the Winter Games. The finest performance of the nation was by Isabel Clark Ribeiro who placed ninth in snowboarding at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
