200m Hurdles at the Olympics
A 200m hurdles race was featured at the Olympics in 1900 and 1904. It was an event for men only. There are two other hurdle races that are now on the Olympic Games program, the 110m (men) and 100m (women) hurdles, and the 400m hurdles.

Trivia
- The third place by George Poage in 1904 was the first Olympic medal by a black athlete.
- In the 1900 final, Alvin Kraenzlein won by five yards, despite having been penalized one meter for a false start.
- The 200m hurdles win by Kraenzlein was one of four individual victories, the most ever by a track and field athlete in a single Olympics.
