The UEFA Champions League is an annual football cup competition played between the European national league champions. Manchester City were the defending champions. The final of the 2024 Champions League was played at Wembley Stadium, London on June 1, between Spanish Club Real Madrid and German club Borussia Dortmund. Real Madrid won the match 2–0 for a record-extending 15th title.
