The 15th Paralympic Summer Games will be held in Rio, Brazil, in 2016 just days after the completion of the Summer Olympic Games. They are scheduled to be held from 7 to 18 September 2016.
There will be a maximum of 22 sports on the program, and 526 medal events. The sports will include canoe and triathlon, set to make their debuts in 2016.
