Super Bowl 1992
The 1992 Super Bowl, officially known as Super Bowl XXVI, was played on January 26, 1992 at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This game saw the Washington Redskins defeat the Buffalo Bills by a score of 37-24.
The Redskins dominated the game, with quarterback Mark Rypien throwing for 292 yards and two touchdowns to earn the MVP award. Washington's defense was also strong, holding the Bills to just 24 points and forcing four turnovers. This was the third Super Bowl win for the Washington Redskins.
The 1992 Super Bowl was also notable for being the first to feature a halftime show produced by Disney, which featured a cast of thousands of performers and showcased the music and pageantry of the Disney theme parks.
