Super Bowl 1986
The 1986 Super Bowl, officially known as Super Bowl XX, was played on January 26, 1986 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. This game saw the Chicago Bears defeat the New England Patriots by a score of 46-10.
The Bears dominated the game, with their legendary defense leading the way, forcing five turnovers and scoring two touchdowns. Running back Walter Payton rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown to become the game's leading rusher. Quarterback Jim McMahon also had a strong performance, throwing for 256 yards and one touchdown. This was the first Super Bowl win for the Chicago Bears.
