The 1978 Super Bowl, officially known as Super Bowl XII, was played on January 15, 1978 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. This game saw the Dallas Cowboys defeat the Denver Broncos by a score of 27-10.
Dallas dominated the game, with their "Doomsday Defense" holding the Broncos to just 10 points and forcing eight turnovers. Cowboys' defensive tackle Randy White and defensive end Harvey Martin were named co-MVPs for their impressive performance.
This was the second Super Bowl win for the Dallas Cowboys.
