The 1977 Super Bowl, officially known as Super Bowl XI, was played on January 9, 1977 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. This game saw the Oakland Raiders defeat the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 32-14.
The Raiders dominated the game, with quarterback Ken Stabler throwing for 180 yards and three touchdowns to earn the MVP award. Oakland's defense was also strong, holding the Vikings to just 14 points and forcing four turnovers. This was the first Super Bowl win for the Oakland Raiders.
